In their last Myspace bulletin, Sierra and Bianca denounce the republican ticket which is running for the presidency of the USA. For us, in France, it’s not a news, but the GOP is stained by evangelical churches, some ultra-conservative people. The result of that is simple to see, since seven years, american people american people are poisonned by the war on terror and the education budget melt like snow under the sun. All that leads to servile population who is not asked to think. CocoRosie takes exemple on the documentary Jesus Camp, 2006, where children are indoctrinated in order to create a new generation of reactionary believers.

Sierra et Bianca will vote for Barack Obama, and as citizen of the world (bogus-expression), we endorse them at 100%.

Bianca Casady has been from april to june 2008 the artist in residence of Wall House #2 at Groningen (North of the Netherlands), structure and foundation opened to the contemporary artists ; there, Bianca had prepared a project called “Flowers for the one you loved. Nature, Angels, Humans… the end of the sun”, and the exhibition had opened on June the 12th.
