The magazine Fake-Real dedicated to Cocorosie

The lucky ones who have seen Cocorosie for their live at the Olympia (09-26-07) must have received there the third edition of the magazine Fake-Real (”one artist. one scene. one magazine”), totally dedicated to the sisters and their universe.
Those lucky ones have indeed discover in it somes photos of Camille Vivier taken according to some of our contacts (uhuh) in the Buttes Chaumont at the beginning of the summer, a portrait of the band drawn by Fred Hanak under the aegis of Militia Shimkovitch (who found with Bianca of the label Voodoo-eros, must it be reminded ?), as well as the portraits of the several other artists who gravitate around the Casady sisters (as Quinn Walker, Bunny Rabbit, Kembra Pfahler — The voluptuous Horror of Karen Black–, Nomi, Priestbird, Rio en medio, Diane Cluck, Durty Nanas, or Tez, and by these portraits the drawings of Militia Shimkovitch) and those of artists who have influence on CocoRosie’s music (Vashti Bunyan and “Just another diamond day”, Wu-Tang Clan and “Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)”, Devendra Banhart and “Oh Me Oh My…*”, and eventually Björk and “Vespertine”). You can also find in it some parts of CocoRosie’s lyrics, a photo from the live at the Grand Rex (04-10-2007) by Simon Guzylack, one page on the Care Bears microphone (CocoRosie’s fetish objects), an other on Voodoo-eros, or, moreover, little interviews of artists next to the Casady sisters…To have more informations about the magazine or to know where you can find the magazine, please click here.[EDIT]

Tiens d’ailleurs pourquoi ne mettez vous pas les belles photos qu’il y a dedans sur votre site, mimi? Vous auriez certainement l’exclusivité sur ce coup la, et grace a qui hein?

Salut, je savais pas très bien où mettre ce commentaire mais, ca fait déja quelques mois que j’écoute cocorosie, enfin que j’adore…Bref, je n’ai pas pu assisté au concert a l’olympia. Mais j’ai eu la chance de croisé Sierra a coté du luxembourg il y a une semaine environ!
J’aurai presque envie de le prendre comme un signe du destin. Non non je m’arrête là, une très belle femme en tout cas, super sympa. Je me demandais qui était le garcon qui l’accompagnait et c’était juste le ” pianiste” du groupe, je crois ( que je découvre sur la photo tout en bas)
Voila, je me demandais qui était le public de cocorosie, ne conaissant personne dans mon entourage qui aime vraiment.
